"Logistics coordinated before the first truck left the yard. Operators who read the site and executed. Material placed precisely, on schedule, without the site ever having to stop for the delivery."

The Project Story

The Job

The parking lot was bustling — boom lifts running, multiple trades working — when the landscape contractor needed 202.5 yards of 3-way blend placed into the planting areas around a newly built commercial building in NE Portland. S1 dispatcher Jenna had the logistics sequenced before the first truck left: material sourced from S1's material blend yard, truck arrivals staggered 30 minutes apart.

The Operation

Operators Dmitriy, Matt, and Ryan each ran three loads. On arrival, each operator read the lot and moved through it deliberately. Positioned the truck, extended the conveyor into the planting bed, worked section by section with flow dialed in to place material evenly throughout. The site kept running the whole time.

The Result

202.5 yards placed precisely across the site, schedule held, and every other trade kept moving without interruption.
